Personally, I love facebook. Myspace is just a lame excuse to whore up for people you don’t even know.

Facebook has reached to countries like Lebanon and has been translated into 20 languages. On August 12- facebook had 132 million users, making 63% other countries besides North America.

Damn.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are reportedly considering starring in new comedy movie ”Food Fight.”

The married couple - who have a two-year-old daughter Suri together - are set to make their first on-screen appearance together in the film, which tells the story of an arrogant New York chef who is forced to cook in a school cafeteria.

Tom is being lined up for the role of the chef, while Katie will play a teacher or member of staff in the cafeteria, according to Chicago Sun Times columnist Bill Zwecker.

A source at Universal Pictures, who are in charge of the film which is being scripted by “Definitely, Maybe” writer Adam Brooks, refused to confirm the reports, adding: “That’s news to me!”

If the movie does go ahead, it won’t be the first time Tom will have acted alongside his real-life love interest.

Tom met future wife Nicole Kidman on the set of “Days of Thunder” in 1990. The pair later teamed up for “Far and Away” and “Eyes Wide Shut.”

Tom also dated his “Vanilla Sky” co-star Penelope Cruz.

In an effort to promote his new movie The Rocker, Rainn Wilson has “kidnapped” his co-star of The Office Jenna Fischer. On a post on Jenna’s MySpace page, Wilson promises that she will be released if his movie grosses 18.7 million dollars (presumably the cost of making it).

There’s even a website up detailing the progress of the kidnapping: FreeJennaNow.com. The first question I have is: what happens to Jenna if the movie doesn’t reach the $18.7 million goal? That answer is left intentionally vague. My guess is he’ll let her go anyway.

I’m glad Jenna is being a good sport about all this (watch the videos to see how Jenna is playing along), otherwise I would find any sort of image involving tying up a woman and leaving her in a vehicle somewhat disturbing. I guess he needed to “kidnap” someone America cares about in order for this Dwight-like scheme to work (and a co-worker who would go along with this silly promotion in the first place). Of course, for better publicity,he could have kidnapped Michael Scott. I think more people would have noticed if Steve Carell was missing.

Everyone’s bitching about how the little girl in the red was lip synching in the Olympics opening ceremony.  And how the little girl in the right was the actual voice.

This must be the end of the world if China decided to portray a more loveable child. Boo hoo. Anyone heard of Bollywood? Look guys…if you’re going to bitch about China lying you’re a bunch of hypocrites. The US would do the same shit, and even make the child get some botox.

“The main consideration was the national interest. The child on the screen should be flawless in image, in her internal feelings, and in her expression” said a Chinese official.  Sure that could be a little f***ed up but then again aren’t WE ALL SUPERFICIAL? Yes.  We are.  So stop bitching.

Nevertheless, China still had the best opening ceremony to the Olympics, lip synching or not.

Scarlett Johansson denies she is Woody Allen’s muse.

The “The Other Boleyn Girl” actress has played down recent claims she inspires the “Manhattan” director to make films after appearing in three of his most recent releases.

She said: “I’m not his muse. Every single junket that we’ve done so far, we always get the muse thing and we always say, ‘no,’ it’s not that way.”

“Woody and I both appreciate how wonderful it is to work with your friends, and it’s fun and we always have a great time when we do it, we entertain each other, we understand each other and we poke each other.”

The 23-year-old beauty stars in Allen’s upcoming “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” after previously featuring in 2005’s “Match Point” and “Scoop” in 2006.

Woody recently said he was “totally captivated” by Scarlett when he first met her, but feared she was not old enough for the role in “Match Point.”

She said: “She was only 19 years old at the time. But I was in a hole, I had to get somebody quickly, and I knew that Scarlett was a great actress and a beauty.”

“I hired her and became totally captivated by her. I thought she could simply do anything. She was not only beautiful but also bright, amusing, charming, and gifted.”

Oh, that pesky Mel Gibson. I have to admit, while I used to be a fan, the last ten years have pulled me out of the Gibson fold. I wasn’t planning to see Edge of Darkness, but with this latest casting notice, the pesky buggers have left me no choice.

The Hollywood Reporter posts that the wonderful, needs-to-be-in-more-films Danny Huston is signing on to the cast, along with Shawn Roberts (Diary of the Dead) and Bojana Novakovic (Seven Pounds). The Martin Campbell-helmed feature will focus on a veteran cop played by Gibson, “whose only grown-up child (Novakovic) is murdered on the steps of his home. The cop unearths his daughter’s secret life and discovers a world of corporate cover-ups and government collusion.” Huston is going to be a shady businessman, I presume somehow entangled in this mess, while Roberts will play the boyfriend of the daughter.

With a little Robert De Niro on board to clean up messes, this could be one interesting film.

For those of you who were to drunk or busy or have been living under a cave…

Here’s an update Michael Phelps in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.  Before we begin, let’s examine that exquisite body.  Look at the way he’s able to move like a beast in the water…can he move like that in bed?  I would love to know and so would other Phelp fans.

He’s got three finals, three gold medals, three world records.  In the 200-meter freestyle on Tuesday at the Water Cube, Phelps killed the field and even his year-old world record.

His time: 1:43.  Holy shit.   Second place, Park Tae-hwan of South Korea had 1:44. Damn it must have sucked to have lost by a second. Third place was Peter Vanderkaay who came in at 1:45.  Michael Phelps now has a total of three golds and seven medals over-all.

Three down. Five more to kill,Phelps. Can he do it?

Kate Hudson insists she doesn’t regret forsaking her partying years to have children.The 29-year-old actress - who has a four-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson - insists she would much rather look after her child than go out drinking and dancing.

She said: “Am I going to look back and say, ‘God, I wish I could have gone to that concert?’ I’d rather be listening to my son sing songs. I’d rather be watching him sleep.”

Kate - who recently split from her cycling champion boyfriend Lance Armstrong - revealed she always ensures she and Ryder stay in touch with Black Crowes front man Chris.

She said: “Ryder and I Chat with Chris constantly. No matter what is going on in my life, relationship-wise, Chris takes absolute precedence.”

“It’s important for Ryder to hear me say how wonderful Chris is, and how much Chris misses him.”

Despite having a series of failed relationships, including those with Owen Wilson and Dax Shepard, Kate admits she still holds out hope she will find her soul mate.

She added to W magazine: “Every girl wants a fairy-tale ending. And I believe it’s possible. Absolutely.”

Scarlett Johansson preferred kissing Penelope Cruz to Jonathan Rhys Meyers.The blonde beauty - who announced her engagement to Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds earlier this year - admits the highly-anticipated kiss for “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” was more pleasurable than she thought it would be.

She said: “Everybody wants to know what it was like. Penelope had less facial hair than a guy so it was certainly more pleasant. It was better than kissing Jonathan Rhys Meyers in ‘Match Point.’”

“Kissing him wasn’t that bad, but he did have to stop and shave in the middle of a scene even though he’d shaved that morning. The man has really got some beard on him!”

Scarlett - who has worked with Woody Allen on three movies so far - also revealed she would “do anything” if it meant she could work with the esteemed director again in the future.

She added to Parade.com: “I worship Woody and I’d do anything in one of his movies.”

The 23-year-old actress said she has learned a lot about herself since she started dating “Definitely, Maybe” star Ryan.

She said: “I’m so fortunate to be in a very solid and comfortable relationship. I’m in a good place in my life right now.”

“I’m a really big believer in loving yourself before you can give love to somebody else.”

“The healthiest and most inspiring relationships are the ones where you’re so comfortable with the other person that you actually learn more about yourself that you could never appreciate before.”
