Britney Spears is set to launch a new perfume to coincide with the release of her new album. The singer - who has previously lent her name to scents entitled Curious, Fantasy, In Control, Midnight Fantasy, Curious Heart and Believe - will release fragrance Hidden Fantasy on December 2, the same day as her sixth studio LP “Circus” hits the shops. An insider at perfume company Elizabeth Arden, who have worked with Britney on her beauty ventures, revealed Hidden Fantasy will smell of cherry and vanilla, adding: “The bottle of Hidden Fantasy is the same as the previous two Fantasy perfumes - the only difference is the color red on it.” Earlier this year, it was revealed Britney had made $26 million in the UK with her scents. Experts claim the singer’s public breakdown and turbulent private life increased the popularity of the fragrances. Other stars with their own perfumes include Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Sarah Jessica Parker and Victoria and David Beckham.
Lindsay Lohan wants to adopt a child. The “Mean Girls” actress – who recently confirmed she is in a relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson – is looking forward to becoming a mother, and would like to help a child in need. She said: “At some point, I want to adopt a kid as well. A child in need or a newborn from another country, I’m not sure.” Although the 22-year-old star – who has completed three stints in rehab for alcohol and drug problems – admits she is “happy” in her relationship with Ronson, she stops short of crediting the DJ with helping her get her life back on track. Instead, Lindsay claims the positive changes in her are solely down to her desire to change. She said: “People can think what they want. I’m really happy, and that’s all that matters. She’s a really great person. “But I think that anything that’s change in my life is because of me. I’ve gone through it and I’ve had to deal with it and I’ve made the decision to move forward. So yeah, she’s a great person.” The actress added she is proud at the way she has managed to turn her life around – in 2006 she was publicly criticized by producers for being “irresponsible and unprofessional” during the filming of “Georgia Rule” – and is certain she will never return to rehab. She told Britain’s Marie Claire magazine: “I’ve learned. I’ll never go back. And it’s not a never-say-never type of thing – it’s just I know. I know.”

And then my brain was set on fire with the constant usage of the word maverick. Is it just me or is it every damn time Palin talks..you just want to drive a nail through your head? However, she did a really awesome job in presenting her scripted argument. Whoever was her tutor should get a big bonus raise. Biden was consitent and passionate in his arguments presented. He was clear and precise…didn’t have to beat around the bush. And I was seriously about to choke up when Joe Biden mentioned the death of his wife and daughter. It’s stupid how Palin tries to make herself the only family-oriented candidate..when Biden had to play Mom and Dad for his kids when his wife died. Media says Biden won.
Leighton Meester has been campaigning to raise awareness of domestic violence. The “Gossip Girl” star - who walked down a runway in New York’s Times Square - urged others to join her in donating a pair of her shoes to Marshall’s Shop ‘Til It Stops campaign. She said: “I think it’s an issue that everyone can take part in because it applies to everyone. You can be a victim or someone you love can be a victim. The more people are aware, the more it can be prevented. “No matter who is affected by domestic violence, I take it personally, so I think it’s partly my responsibility to talk about it.” Leighton also spoke about how appearing in hit US TV show “Gossip Girl” has changed her off-screen style. She explained: “I adore fashion, and I really have become so much more comfortable in it lately.” “Because of the show, I’ve become more aware of trends and designers, and I’m so much more comfortable dressing up and going all out now.” “The more I do the show, the more it makes me appreciate being able to just wear jeans and a T-shirt in my daily life.”
