It seems like everyone these days are commiting suicide or shooting people randomly due to this financial crisis.
So Damn I’m Cute wants to tell you awesome viewers, DON’T KILL YOURSELVES OR ANYONE ELSE! This awful time will end in about 2 years, it might seem forever but it’s really not! Killing yourselves won’t solve this problem. Go to counseling, therapy…everyone has their ups and downs in business.
Be safe!!!

So I thought I could diss Holly Madison…but I can’t. I feel sad for the hoe.
Recently she told TMZ, “Hef and I aren’t togehter.” The bitch has been on his nuts forever. She wanted a baby, a family…and all that time with him…wasted.
Well at least she’ll start living her life now.

Well, that was a little strange… and maybe a little unnecessary. All right, it was definitely unnecessary. I wasn’t quite sure how they were going to work out these Thursday election specials, because even though they called it “Weekend Update Thursday”, I didn’t believe they were just going to show a twenty-some minute long “Weekend Update” segment. As it turned out, the special consisted of one cold open and the rest was “Weekend Update.” This is where I got super-confused. Half of these jokes had absolutely nothing to do with the election, leaving me to wonder if there is anyone out there that could not have waited until Saturday night to hear the relevant jokes. I don’t think anyone’s going to forget the election or the economic crisis any time soon, let alone by Saturday.

Reese Witherspoon and boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal are planning to buy a home together in London. The couple, who have been dating for over a year after meeting on the set of “Rendition,” are reportedly looking at apartments and townhouses in the UK capital’s exclusive Mayfair district.
A source told the Chicago Sun Times newspaper: “Reese was extremely concerned about security issues.”
“She seemed to particularly like places where they could enter and exit not directly onto the street.”
“That’s not always an easy thing in Central London, especially Mayfair. But we were able to come up with a couple of places both she and Jake seemed to like.”
Jake fell in love with London after shooting scenes for his new movie “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” in the city.
Friends of the couple are confident the relationship will last, saying they are more in love than ever.
One pal revealed: “I am convinced they will eventually marry and I really think it will be for good.”
“I know we’re talking about Hollywood stars, but these two have something special.”

We already know that NeuroSky is bringing us the mind-reading Mindset for your gaming pleasures, but we got a first-hand look at the device here at TGS. At first glance, the headset may appear to be just another white set of over-the-ear headphones, but a little boom that gets all cuddly with your forehead measures how well you are concentrating on in-game objects. While this may sound like a bunch of hoopla, keep in mind that mega-developer Square Enix is already on board with “Judecca,” a zombie thriller that forces you to concentrate your way into seeing your enemies. After holding up your hand, you then concentrate on a glyph that glows in direct relation to your ability to concentrate, opening up what’s called your Devil’s Eye. Once you’re in a zen-like state, you can see Judecca’s zombies and unleash some kill. You can also show your concentration skills enough to walk through walls, naturally. In our limited time trying the tech with Judecca, we were indeed able to induce some sort of concentrative state, even with the distractions of a giant Japanese gaming convention. As for how long we’d want to play something like this before switching to something involving, say, just pushing buttons and killing enemies, we’re not so sure. NeuroSky promises the device in Spring 2009 for a price somewhere between $50 and $80. Hit the break for a couple shots of the device and a very tense gamer.

Another day, another independent developer gets shafted on the iTunes App Store. Today’s casualty? Developer Phunkware and its Tetris-inspired game, Shaker.
According to TUAW, the Tetris Company and Tetris Holdings LLC found the game to be too inspired by its titular cash cow, despite the somewhat intoxicating visual themes, inclusion of martini recipes, and unique “shaker” feature that rotated the blocks based on the iPhone’s accelerometer orientation. We’ll admit, the core gameplay is similar to Tetris, but honestly, the same could be said for any number of games and the classics they draw from.
In the current wave of App Store rejections and removals, it’s sad to see another application go the way of the Dodo — particularly one that has genuinely unique features to offer. And with so many apps being virtual clones of each other — games or not — the only real question left to ask is, “Who’s next on the chopping block?” [From TUAW]

Prince of Persia Classic is a remake of the original Prince of Persia which debuted on the Apple II, with improved graphics, new enemies and better controls. The game was released on XBLA July of last year, but according to an article published on Sony’s Games and Media News site last week, it will be headed for PSN as well. This confirms a ESRB listing we noticed back in July. No word on a release date or price, but we are assuming pricing-wise, it will remain the same as its XBLA counterpart, which means it shall cost $10.
