Bob Saget’s Comedy Central roast was filmed Sunday night, and the typically raunchy affair may have crossed the line a little bit. Despite being a famously foul-mouthed comedian himself, Saget is best known for playing warm and fuzzy Danny Tanner on Full House. It was because of this famous role that most of the jokes centered on two of his diminutive co-stars: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
Whether it was Gilbert Gottfried suggesting that Saget seduced the twins with chocolate milkshakes or Uncle Jesse himself, John Stamos, saying things like, “The whole time Bob and I were doing Full House, he was also hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos. His entire job consisted of saying ‘Take a look at this’ which is what he used to say to Mary Kate in her dressing room,” the subject of inappropriate relations with children was apparently a high source of comedy.

Holy Hell. Breaking news junkies!
Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank is your God. He proposed that the U.S should STOP arresting those responsible marijuana users- basically anyone who carries fewer than 100 grams.
“The vast amount of human activity ought to be none of the government’s business,” Frank said on Capitol Hill. “I don’t think it is the government’s business to tell you how to spend your leisure time.”
This dude has GOT to be smokin’ from the bong. Alright, I agree with Frank because there are a lot of responsible stoners out there. Not everyone who gets high kills somebody. Just like not everyone who drinks is a drunk. So maybe, just maybe…this proposal will turn into a law.
If so…420 is going to be off the chain!

Angelina Jolie was not maternal when she was younger.
Her father Jon Voight - who recently rekindled his relationship with his estranged daughter - admits he is amazed she now has six children because she didn’t display mothering instincts as a child.
He told Us Weekly magazine: “You know she wasn’t the kind that played with dolls and then all of the sudden she has all of these children. She loves kids though. She’s very playful. It’s wonderful.”
Jon also revealed Angelina - who gave birth to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline last month - and her partner Brad Pitt are “over the moon” with the new arrivals.
He added: “The twins are healthy and they’re doing well and I’m so happy. And of course the parents are really happy and over the moon. It’s a wonderful time.”
As well as Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, Brad and Angelina have a two-year-old biological daughter Shiloh, and three adopted children - Maddox, six, four-year-old Pax and three-year-old Zahara.

Pioneer engineers seem to love breaking barriers as they unveil a 500GB optical disc, throwing in an additional 100GB compared to the earlier 16-layer optical disc. This time round, you will get 25 layers crammed inside, and it can be manufactured to function just fine with Blu-ray players. I’m not too sure what to do with all that space on a single disc - perhaps Sony can release 20 full HD movies on a single disc in order to save on shipping costs? It will take around two to four years before this new optical disc is made available to the general public, making me wonder who is brave enough to be an early adopter when this is released.

Real updates on the way. In the meantime, here is YouTube musician number 3…
I want to believe this is real so much.
I also want to believe that if this were a hoax, they’d have gone for broke and put in fewer wrong notes.

Konami is in a good mood. Well, you would too if you were touting number spikes like a 116 percent jump in net revenues. Konami is reporting massive positive growth in its first quarter earnings and no doubt a huge chunk of that is due to the success of Metal Gear Solid 4 — which has shipped three million units worldwide on its first week. Konami stated that sales for the PS3 exclusive Solid Snake adventure were “sensational” with sales still “steadily increasing.”
As for all the final numbers for Konami’s first quarter earnings for the period ended June 30, here they are: ¥70.8 billion ($654 million) in net revenues, operating income climbed over 165 percent to ¥11.6 billion, and net income grew about 47 percent to ¥5.66 billion ($52.3 million). Konami expects these numbers to rise to ¥330 billion, ¥45 billion, and ¥26 billion respectively for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2009.

There was a time when the world was more innocent and Lincoln Logs in elementary classrooms were a given, but now that teachers are looking to squash every ounce of fun between 8AM and 3PM (okay, so maybe we just had a rough experience or two), LEGO’s taking the back door in. The WeDo robotics kit is marketed toward elementary schools and the younger kids within them, with each package containing 158 blocks, gears, levers, etc., a USB hub for connecting to your Mac / PC, OLPC XO or Intel Classmate, a motor, one motion sensor, one tilt sensor and a CD with a smattering of sure-to-be-riveting activities. Mum’s the word on pricing for now, but considering your tax dollars will be paying for ‘em, it’s not like you’ll really benefit from knowing.
