While we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s at least a few makeshift multi-monitor setups out there to challenge it, as far as ready-made solutions go, it’s pretty tough to beat this massive rig from 9X Media, which packs a room-busting 30 screens. What’s more, you can apparently get it configured with your choice of 19- to 32-inch displays, which can be arranged in any number of of different configurations (complete with multi-screen servers). Of course, if that’s a bit too excessive for you, 9X Media will also gladly sell you any number of smaller configurations, although you’ll have to chat them up for a quote if you move beyond the nine to twelve screen range. I’ve been traveling on business all over the country for most of April and just made it home late last night. One of my favorite things to do before going on the road is put together a list of food and beverage destinations for every town I visit. This is so important to me because then I know that I can have something good to eat during or after a long day of meetings and events. Many of these events are centered around food and are usually excellent. But some are a little on the meager side food-wise when they are focused on libations. The past week was an intensive exploration of NY City’s cocktail and spirits world with a few stops here and there for some great food in between. I had just finished taping a radio show discussing artisanal spirits and modern mixology when I was feeling a mite peckish. Being a part time resident of NY, I hadn’t done as much research as I normally would, relying on my good friend and fellow blogger Joe Distefano to be just a quick phone call away. I drew a blank about places I had heard of and gave him a call for some suggestions. Of course it was one of those days when each place was closed or too busy to grab something quick. I finally ended up for a long session of dim sum at Jing Fong in Chinatown. A patch would be nice, but instead, we get to delete pretty much everything on our PS3 to make the game work? Sounds pretty pathetic to us, but hey, ostensible perfection demands sacrifice, right? Don’t get us started. Last week’s poll is after the jump, so check out those results while we have your attention! Continue reading PS3 Poll Police: Did you succumb to Rockstar’s GTA IV “fix”?

You lavish it with attention, show it off to friends, and rub its underside when its battery is low. It sleeps next to you, and turning it on is your first order of business in the morning. So why not make it happy with some top-notch accessories? We’ve compiled a list of the best in every category — and make your iPhone love you as much as you love it. Freak.
incase Slider We’ve put quite a few cases on our iPhones, and there’s a clear winner: incase’s Slider ($34.99). It’s ultra slim and made of quality, hardshell plastic — something not the case with most of its competition (no pun intended), which quite drastically change the silhouette of the phone. On the inside are rubber guardrails, which provide shock absorption, and the bottom cover is removable, making it fit easily in most docks (the device is actually thin enough that it fit in all of our docks as-is). And then, of course, there are the looks: It’s shiny, black or white Storm Trooper plastic that just looks awesome. It sounds crazy, but we like the way our iPhone looks more with the case on than without it. (And incase just released a black matte version if a more understated, non-Storm-Trooper look is more up your alley.) Filed under: Blu-ray
Looks like there’s something for thrill seekers, too. Take a look at Twister; it’s all about tornado chasers. And you boring types (pardon the pun), don’t feel left out. You can watch Helvetica … a documentary on typography.

The only release to be found worldwide is Call of Duty 4: GOTY Edition. We highly suspect you already have COD4, but if you don’t you may as well take this opportunity to pick it up. We did name it Game Of The Year, after all. Here’s the “full release list”: US Games EU Games Asian Games No new releases
Filed under: Computers, Laptops First things first: just in case that headline didn’t really sink in, this is an 18.4-inch laptop. In other words, those of you with even the slightest of back problems should probably just pass this one right on by. If you’re still with us, however, you’ll likely be totally engrossed by Laptop Mag’s review of the Acer Aspire 8920G. The larger of the two second-gen Gemstones was said to feature a “gorgeous” Full HD display, impressive audio output, a respectable webcam and plenty of power under the hood. They also found the unique CineDash Media Console to be quite effective, save for accidentally activating the multimedia hub on occasion. Overall, critics deemed the lappie a “stellar” machine, but we’d certainly recommend browsing through the review just to make sure you’re really interested in picking up a slab this gigantic. [Source: Laptop Magazine] Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments Filed under: News The latest episode of Insomniac’s “Full Moon Show” podcast, as well as subsequent posts on NeoGAF, indicate that a playable build of Resistance 2 will be available for press at PlayStation Day. Unfortunately, no video of the game will be made available after the event, leaving you to snack on only a collection of screenshots and hands-on impressions before June 13th. We’ll be at the event and will endeavor to bring you those all-important screenies and our own hands on impressions of the game as soon as possible. PlayStation Day occurs on Tuesday, May 6th so be sure to check back here for full coverage of the event. [Thanks Kyle]
