Kajol yet to sign Karan Johar’s ‘I am Khan’
Karan Johar has been tom-tomming that he has signed SRK and Kajol for his next movie ‘I am Khan’ but K.JO has taken his friendship with Kajol a little bit for granted. Apparently the beautiful actress has not given the green signal to the project. Kajol revealed, “I have been approached for this movie by […]

And with the release with Bill and Hillary Clinton’s tax returns, we are getting more data points. Interestingly enough, it looks like Bill was a big-time private equity operator. That is, he snagged $15.4 million (since 2003) from Yucaipa Cos. That’s certainly a big chunk of Bill’s earnings (which amount to about $75 million during this period). But according to Bloomberg.com, Bill’s role may have been more than just an investor. In other words, he may have been an influencer on deal-making. And why not? Isn’t it convenient to have the former U.S. president on your payroll? Absolutely. No doubt, Bill is the ultimate “door opener.” Oh, and I’m sure reporters will try to get some juicy details on some of Yucaipa’s deals. I have often wondered why ice comes in every drink I order. In the winter I’ve typically just come in from the outdoors and I’m freezing. The last thing I want is ice. In the summer, air conditioning is often so strong that I’m freezing indoors and again I don’t want ice. I’ll tell you when I want ice - when it’s hot! I like ice when I’m working or playing outside and sweating. Mark Twain was quoted as saying, “The only distinguishing characteristic of the American character I’ve been able to discover is a fondness for ice water.” Do you like ice? Why do you think Americans like their ice so much? Permalink | Email this | Comments

Griffin’s ugly-ass ClearBoost iPhone antenna booster hits the scenePosted by: admin in Technology newsGriffin’s ugly-ass ClearBoost iPhone antenna booster hits the scene Filed under: Cellphones ![]() Griffin’s antenna-stub sporting ClearBoost case for the iPhone just hit the streets, and opinions are already pouring in. The case involves the antenna, a bumper and a screen protector, and while the resulting combination is not much for loooks, iLounge found it to improve performance in certain situations. Apparently in very low coverage areas the ClearBoost isn’t much help, but in wonky two or three bar situations ClearBoost added one or two bars. Sounds like a win to us, but you’re going to have to have some serious need of signal to sacrifice iPhone aesthetics this totally. [Via iLounge]

Mr. Ariaiwand is an Iranian who had been seeking asylum in Norway. His family had been accepted, however, he was denied. As it turns out, Spitsbergen, in the Svalbard archipelago, doesn’t require pesky paperwork or residency status to live there. So Mr. Ariaiwand moved there as a temporary solution and promptly opened his kebab shop. It’s become so popular that it has challenged traditional foods, like whale meat and seal meat, for superiority. I can understand this man’s motives, and I certainly see why a kebab shop would be so popular in the arctic circle. I’ve never had the pleasure of seal or whale meat, but it seems like a kebab would win me over pretty quickly! Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments

I hate the cold, so I have a hard time seeing why anyone would want to move to the island of Spitsbergen, about 300 miles from the northern tip of Norway. However, that is exactly what Kazem Ariaiwand did, and he had a very good reason for making the move.
