Reformed drug addict Courtney Love is pleading with Britney Spears to get help, saying that she might end up like Marilyn Monroe.
Spears has been readmitted to hospital and Love spoke publicly about her and expressed her concerns, contactmusic.com reports.
Love said: “I know exactly what’s going on, having been there. If she doesn’t get help something very, very bad is going to happen.
“Marilyn Monroe was strapped to a gurney too, but, other than me and Britney, no one’s ever been strapped to a gurney.”
Love, like Spears was admitted to a hospital for her problems and needed her friends’ help to get by. She thinks there is no shame in facing bipolar issues and is hoping that Spears will appreciate it.
“It has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt it’s a genetic condition and it’s a disease. It’s a part of our brain that doesn’t care about consequences, it doesn’t care if our children are gonna be taken away.”
Love has reached out to other young celebrities about their drug problems.

It seems the world is safe for pizza delivery boys and male shipping heirs — at least for now. Paris Hilton is reportedly stepping out with the ladies.
According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Paris got her French on with “Captivity” cutie Elisha Cuthbert — the pinched-face blondie who also portrayed Jack Bauer’s daughter on “24.”
“They were drinking and dancing, and suddenly they just started kissing,” said one spywitness who caught the girlie show at a Meatpacking District hotspot in NYC. Elisha’s rep denied the racy tale, but Page Six says several nightclub patrons confirmed their lengthy lip lock.
Meanwhile, the Meatpacking make-out session was just another stop on Paris’ Sapphic swing, which started days earlier on the opposite coast. In some kind of heirhead power play, Paris joined forces with Courtenay Semel, daughter of former Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel and embittered ex-roommate of Paris frenemy Lindsay Lohan.
“Courtenay is so jealous that Lindsay is away and spending time with Stavros Niarchos,” said a Page Six source. “So she’s been parading Paris Hilton around to all her lesbian events.” Stavros, you may recall, is the Greek shipping heir whose been romantically connected to Paris, Lindsay and Mary-Kate Olsen.
Courtenay took Paris to Sunset Boulevard lesbian club Falcon, Page Six reports, where the gal pals table-danced the night away. Take that, Lindsay!

Kate Moss popped the question to her rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince after a 12-hour lovemaking marathon.
According to ShowBizSpy.com, the British supermodel, who began dating Hince last August, was spotted picking up wedding brochures at the Londons Claridges hotel sparking rumours that she is planning to hold her nuptials there followed by a lavish reception in one of the many decadent ballrooms
“Kate looked radiant when she came by to pick up the wedding brochures, News.com.au quoted a source, as saying.
“She has the air of a woman who is loved and looked after,” the source added.
Kate allegedly proposed to the Kills star during a 12-hour sex romp and after they spent the night of passion, Kate is believed to have told pals, “We’re engaged.”
The catwalk diva regularly visited Claridge’s when she was dating Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty.
However, since their split last July, she has favoured London’s Dorchester hotel, where she held her 34th birthday party earlier this month.
“It was generally assumed Claridge’s was a bolthole for her and Pete and she wouldn’t be back again, so you can image the buzz when she showed up,” the source added.

She used to consider herself the youngest person in Hollywood, but now Brooke Shields realizes she doesn’t look the same as she did earlier in her career.
And sometimes it takes an old photo to remind her of that.
“I keep thinking I’m younger than I am,” the Lipstick Jungle star, 42, tells Parade magazine in its new issue. “The other day, I was working with a photographer to recreate an image we had done years ago. When I saw my face, I kind of went, ‘What is that?’ I assumed I was going to look the same, and I didn’t. It was a shock to my system.”
Still, the vibrant actress identifies with young characters for which she’ll read scripts for, even if her husband, Chris Henchy, 43, thinks otherwise.
“Sometimes I’ll read a part and identify with the material, and I’ll say, ‘Oh, honey, I really like this,’ ” Shields says. “He’ll look at me like I’m crazy and ask, ‘What’s wrong with you? You’re not in your 20s. You seriously think you can walk in there and get this role? It’s going to a 24-year-old.’ ”
Nevertheless, Shields enjoys a busy life. Besides her TV series, there are daughters Rowan, 4, and Grier, 22 months.
“I’m really proud of my kids, I’m excited about my job, and my marriage is not suffering. It’s not easy, but it’s not falling apart,” she says. “This is the first time in my life that everything is exactly the way I want it to be.”

Former “Baywatch” star and Playboy model Pamela Anderson takes to the stage in one of France’s most famous nude revues this month, when she performs for two nights at the Crazy Horse in Paris.

There’s been so much talk about the possibility of yet another PlayStation 3 model that it’s hard not to believe that Sony has something in the works. And GameDaily has learned as much from a “very reliable” anonymous source inside Sony. However, that source said Sony hasn’t actually decided what configuration the new model will sport, but that its executives and other officials have been meeting in Japan this week to figure that out.
“There are a lot of different strategies under consideration, but nothing is final yet. They are considering ways to put some relevant distance between the two PS3 SKUs, but it’s unclear how that will roll out,” the source said. Additionally, the source said the reason for Sony considering yet another hardware configuration is because it doesn’t believe there’s enough difference between the 40GB and 80GB models.
So if GameDaily’s source is to be trusted, there’s definitely something in the works, but it doesn’t seem like even Sony knows what will be coming down the pipeline at this point. Either way, consumers won’t be too upset if Sony can pack in a bigger hard drive and maybe a DualShock 3 while keeping the pricing structure the same.

Still scoffing at Sony’s claim about the PS3 lasting a decade? Maybe your particular console will only survive in that stuffy entertainment unit for six or so years, but Codemasters CEO Rod Cousens says not to take Sony lightly. He strongly believes the cycle for the PS3 will last ten years and a strong ten years, at that. He feels momentum for Sony and the PS3 is building up, what with “killer apps” headed to the console in the next few years, Blu-ray’s almost certain victory, and the success of the PS2 factors into his estimation as well.
He admits the PS3 is going to have an uphill battle in the US, where Microsoft has dug their trenches with the 360, but the European and Japanese market will begin to more readily accept the PS3 in the coming years. Speaking of the coming years, Cousens proposes that a Wii 2 (maybe renamed the Mii 2 just for funsies) will come out before a successor emerges for the PS3 or 360 — the latter can be upgraded over the years, but won’t be replaced. We hope the PS3 does make it through ten years. The PS2 is practically there and continues to hold a lineup of titles that aren’t terrible. It’s still the console to pick up for RPG fanatics everywhere.
